Mathare United Women Head Coach Ann Aluoch dedicates their return to the FKF Women Premier League to the late Bob Munro

Under the inspiring leadership of Head Coach Ann Aluoch, Mathare United Women have successfully secured promotion to the 2026/27 FKF Women Premier League! This achievement comes after an outstanding season where they finished as FKF Women National Super League Zone A champions with a total of 58 points, including 19 victories, 1 draw, and only 1 loss.

Coach Ann has dedicated this significant milestone to the late Bob Munro, the founder of Mathare Youth Sports Association, stating, "Though he is no longer with us, his spirit continues to live within Mathare United. We hope we have made you proud." Bob Munro championed the growth of women’s football and empowered young girls to dream big through the game. His legacy inspires many every day.

This achievement was not just a solo effort. Coach Ann expressed immense gratitude for her players, fans, and team officials, highlighting the collaborative spirit that propelled us back to the top flight of women's football. The joy and pride felt by the entire team and community is indescribable.

"First and foremost, all glory and honor to God for this incredible achievement. The journey has been long, demanding, and full of challenges, but through faith, hard work, sacrifice, and unity, we have finally achieved our goal — KWNSL Champions! And now, it is our time to return to where we belong, the Premier League.
